About Switch Library

Switch Library is a free, fast, no-tracking database of mechanical keyboard switch specs: 61 switches across 13 brands, each with actuation force, travel, build materials, sound and feel, plus a side-by-side compare tool.

Where the numbers come from

Specs are manufacturer-stated where published and community-sourced where not. Boutique switches in particular vary batch to batch, so treat force and travel as close approximations, not lab measurements. Switches marked with a note carry community estimates. If you spot an error, tell me and I will fix it fast.

Who builds this

I'm Kalin Stanchev, an eCommerce engineer and mechanical keyboard builder in Barcelona. I hand-build programmable macropads and repair keyboard PCBs, which is exactly why I keep a switch database in the first place.
